God's Purpose: Peace and Life
The Bible says . . .
"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10
Why don't most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?
The Problem: Our Separation
God created us with a freedom of choice. With an ability to choose, we are responsibile for the consequences of our choices. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

Our Attempts to Reach God
People have tried many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God.
The Bible says...
No bridge reaches God...except one.
God's Bridge: The Cross
Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.
The Bible says...
God has provided the only way to a relationship with Him.
Our Response: Repent & Believe
We find forgivenes by repentance and faith. This is an act of grace by God. God draws us into a relationship with Him and we must accept His invitation. We must repent, which means we must turn away from our sin and selfishness and turn to Christ. It is a complete 180 degree turn in a new direction.
The Bible says...
What is God doing in you?
• Are you convinced that Jesus is God’s Son and that He died on the cross in your place for your sin?
• Do you believe He arose from the dead triumphant over sin & death, so that you can have eternal life?
• Has God broken you over your sin through genuine repentance?
• Have you placed your faith in the grace of God for salvation?
• Are you ready to follow Jesus as King?
Through repentence and faith we submit ourselves to God and become His obedient children.
